Have we ever wondered?
What are we becoming?
This should be the question,
That everyone must be querying,
To ourselves, not to others,
It is imperative to be aware of,
The direction we are heading.
Did we ever ask?
As an individual
What are we becoming?
As a family
What are we becoming?
As a nation
What are we becoming?
As a world
What are we becoming?
Any idea what is the criteria?
How do we navigate ourselves
Through the networks of metaverse?
How to identify the beating heart,
Whether it became soft or hard?
The solution is simple,
Do not confuse or compound it,
Observe life’s pattern,
Beginning with your thoughts,
Accompanied by your words and actions,
And answer the following questions-
Is life more joyous or sad?
Do we have sweetness or bitterness in our hearts?
Are we overwhelmed with love or hate?
Does every morning bring hope?
Do we look forward to tomorrow?
Do we hold on to fear or faith?
If the response to more than one question,
Appears to be negative,
We need to check both ways,
What are we thinking, saying, and doing?
It is said,
We create our own reality,
The world in which we are bred,
It’s GIGO in action,
Garbage In Garbage Out,
If more answers are gloomy,
We need to find out,
What are we putting in our heads?
Let us question ourselves,
Are we fine with who we are?
Are we fine with what we are becoming?
Because together we make the world,
Individual culture summed up,
As a family, country, or the world in a whirl.
It’s time to course correct ourselves,
This is the least we can do.
We are all responsible for the world,
Both inner and outer hurled,
We can find love and beauty in life, unfurled,
For us and for everyone,
Let us question ourselves again,
What can we now become?
